work, work, work, work
This rather slow week fell under finishing working with the B2B website for Holme Group that I started working on last week. There was still plenty to do and adjust after feedback from the team about it.
Starting with the main screen that needed a bit of design reworking. I worked on polishing and adjusting it according to feedback then finishing it with UX writing.
Next page I worked on was the about page for the website. The design as well as all the content such as pictures and writing. The same for the contact page and any other content that was missing or placed as a placeholder. This way the design part of the website was done.
The website for HGBrands needed a dual language possibility and because I was working with wordpress for this site it was the easiest to achieve that with a plugin. I needed to learn more about it, install it, adjust it and create all the content in dual language – english / danish. Some parts like the front and the about us pages are only in English as my Danish level doesn’t really allow me to fully write content in it. Therefore the other members of the team will need to do that.
This is the final design:

The rest of the week I have spent on working with the backend of the website. Creating the database for the webstore as well as translating danish information about the products into english allowing for the language change on the site.
